I offer virtual 1:1 English coaching for adults, in-person individual or small group lessons in Sunnyvale, California, and self-paced synchronous speaking programs.​

1:1 SPEAKING LESSONS
One-on-one lessons help you build specific skills with personalized attention, plenty of speaking practice, and feedback. You can learn from home at a time that works for you. Lessons focus on grammar, vocabulary, and listening to target the areas you want to improve. I recommend two lessons per week for faster progress, though one lesson per week can also work with extra homework between sessions.

Levels
I teach all levels except nearly fluent students (around C2), unless I hear specific grammatical challenges in your speaking that I can help you with.​​

Scheduling​
I offer flexible scheduling through an online booking system, allowing you to choose lesson times that suit your availability. Currently, I have open slots from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. ​​​​

​You’ll receive curated resources and materials to support your progress, including grammar exercises, speaking practice, personalized vocabulary lists on Google Docs, and journal writing.​​​​​

Rates for 1-hour online lessons
• Individual lesson $65 per hour
• Package of 5 lessons (5% discount = $308.75)
• Package of 10 lessons (10% discount = $585)​​​​​​
GROUP LESSONS
Small groups are as effective as 1:1 lessons and offer more speaking time than large classes where you don't have opportunities to speak.

Levels
I offer group classes for most levels, except nearly fluent students (C2), unless you have specific speaking issues. This format is ideal for true beginners, as it ensures all participants are at a similar level for effective learning.

Scheduling​
Classes are held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, or Sundays with morning, afternoon, or early evening options.​
​
Class Length
Each class is 1 hour, with the option to extend to 1.5 hours (see rates below).
Meeting twice a week is ideal for faster progress, though meeting once a week can also be effective if you prefer a less intensive schedule.

Homework​​
For each class, I’ll assign grammar exercises, conversation topics, and two speaking prompts. If you attend two classes per week, you'll receive four prompts. You’ll record your responses, and I’ll provide feedback to help you improve between classes.
